In 2011, FCA recognized the value of assisting their Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep ®, Ram, and Fiat customers at any point in the ownership process, including the unfortunate incidence of an accident. With vehicles that feature ever-increasing levels of technology and complexity, it was necessary to give customers a network to turn to for safe and proper collision repair.

They launched the accredited collision repair program FCA U.S. LLC in July 2012. This is the first OE certification program operated by Assured Quality Network, the United States’ largest OE certification organization.

Assured Performance Network, on behalf of FCA, supports the system and certifies that shops have the right materials, supplies, training, and updated facilities to provide proper repair.

Mopar, founded in 1937, is the official FCA U.S. vehicle service, parts, and customer care brand — Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep ®, Ram, and Fiat. Mopar’s top priority is to provide owners with the confidence and peace of mind that comes from repairs made at an FCA-certified body shop using OEM replacement parts.

Mopar has every step of the way on the customer journey with all of our vehicle owners, and this involves safe and proper crash repair across a trusted network.

Involvement in the system lifts the emphasis on proper FCA repairs. Via our partner network, they demand methods of repair and training that only about 10-15 percent of the industry will reach, and FCA believes that this is a fantastic benefit for their customers.

Our FCA certified shops have the necessary equipment in their toolbox to repair vehicles in a secure and correct manner according to FCA standards and procedures.

FCA works closely with their certified repair facilities to spread the word that they are part of our trusted network and believe that this is another great advantage of their system. They host a licensed store locator on the website of Mopar owner and the mobile app of the owner.  They also work with accredited shops to deliver personalized mailers to owners of vehicles Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep ®, Ram, and Fiat in some zip code proximity to their locations.

For 2019, they invested in both web-based and in-person training on how to fix, search, and recalibrate FCA vehicles properly. FCA takes a closer look at the performance/capabilities of its network, and make sure they have the best FCA certified repair shops for their customer experience in the network.
